i'm trying to find out how a few of you guys have been able to connect your nokia e61 smartphone to successfully pair with your bmw hands-free bluetooth system. i have a 2006 z4 m coupe with dvd navigation system MK IV 4/1-80 version 28 and the latest nokia e61 firmware update (Firmware 2.0618.06.05).

the phone can find the car and pair with the bmw bluetooh but the car's system never recognizes the phone and therefore no dialing can occur.

if you have been able to make it connect and make calls using the hands-free bluetooth system (EVEN if you can't transfer your contacts) pleaes document for everyone exactly what your system (car and phone) configuration is and what you did to connect, as detailed as possible.
