I got my first flat tire tonight ever.. Unfortunately, it was on a Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 that I had installed LAST WEEK. I was driving through the town of Bedford.. It was raining pretty hard and all of a sudden there was this loud WHAM! I've hit some potholes before, but this was huge. It didn't feel like there was anything wrong, so I just kept going. I got onto the Everett Turnpike to go to Nashua, about 10-15min south. The car felt strange. The handling felt a little sloppy, and got progressively worse, and the car was shaking a little. It almost felt like what happens if you're driving a car with no ABS and you get a flat spot on the tire. I assumed there was something wrong with the suspension (Which was just fixed on Saturday, at a cost of $1300.. No more warranty

). I got off the highway and went to a well-lit parking lot in an area that I knew (the Nashua high school) and got out of the car.. My passenger's side rear tire was completely flat. So I had the fun experience of changing my tire in the dark, when it was about 42 degrees and pouring rain. I got soaked cause I had to kneel in puddles and stuff. It wasn't so bad though. I could have been in an unknown area.. I'm glad it was a slow leak, and not a violent blowout, especially if it had happened on the highway... Unfortunately, I'll probably have to buy a whole new rim. It's pretty badly bent.
