Damn!, sucks to bend a rim
I've had my liscence for about 2 years now and I've had 5 flat tires between my two cars, but thats mainly because I frequent the industrial estates (for hobby and work stuff) where there is more debris on the road than usual
The worst one happened about 5 miniuts after I cashed in a load of aluminium and bronze scrap at a local scrap dealer (about $100 worth), I was driving out of the industrial estate when my front left tire deflated rather rapidly from a thick piece of stainless steel swarf through the sidewall

, the car (BMW 735i) pulled like mad and scared the crap out of me. It was a 35* day and after I was done at the tire shop (near new Michie' fitted and balanced) I hat just enough money left over from the scrap metal to buy a pack of icy cold Scotch&Coke

, so I guess it worked out even that day
