Thanks guys. So am I right in thinking that all MK4 drives support dynamic routing but only BM54's manufactured after September 2005 support it? The seller is refusing to refund me saying the MK4 drive is at fault not the BM54.

I beleve that you have been mis-informed by your dealer. I confirm that the item is sold as described and is a BM54 radio which does indeed support TMC which in turn supports dynamic navigation via the MK4 Navigation computer. Only MK4 computer after 2005 can support dynamic navigation. This I have checked prior to despatch.
Please also note that I have quite clearly stated in the description that I do not give refunds for items bought in error. I am sorry in this instance I can not help you.
