on my 05 3.0ds i have not changed the consumption since i drove it out of the dealers 16 months ago and it is reading an average of 24 impg.

if i fill up and drive straight to the motorway and drive between 80-100 it will read about 32impg.

i had a x3 3.0i petrol before the x5 and that was averaging 19impg.

but the torque over petrol is great and that turbo wine.
