I might be able to help with the cigarret lighter because I just had this problem yesterday as a matter of fact, my pda car charger was stuck in the socket and I forced it out , that happened last week, so I went to the fuse box in the glove compt. and changed fuses like 5 times and it kept blowing them, long story short, I finally decided to look at the actual socket and one of the tabs inside was bent inward causing a short, replaced fuse, now it's good.
