My understanding is that this is a safety feature - to make sure you're watching while rolling up the windows to ensure no-one gets trapped

You can roll everything up by putting the key in the lock, and holding it in the lock position until all the windows shut. You can hold it unlocked to open everything, but that also works from the key.

I don't believe you can have this enabled with coding (not officially anyway!)
