the cassette player is built in to the nav; it's one unit. It would be extremely hard to replace it with an in-dash unit with the nav screen still in tact. You also need to find the space to fit it behind the screen back there as well. If you want a CD player, I suggest purchasing the Alpine/BMW CD changer for the trunk, or buy a Dice unit.
