Any idea if this is normal?
I don't know if this is normal or what it could be: Every day in the morning (regardless of the temperature) I have to back up out of my garage, so I put my automatic in "R" (obviously), then I put in in "D" again, ... and almost nothing happens. I have to give a lot of gas (you can hear the engine rev up), before the car finally "engages" and starts to move. I do not feel any kind of slip afterwards during the normal shifts of my automatic transmission whatsoever, only in this one specific case. I can not really say if it has always been like that or if this actually evolved over a longer period of time. Seems strange though. I have a 2004 X5 3.0i Automatic which is still under full warranty. So my question is: Is this normal, or is anything wrong here, and what could it be? Thanks in advance.
