All you need is the "BMW X5 Harness Extension" in the "Optional Accessories" section of
http://tvonnav.com/bmwtvonnav.html. It lists for $70 and will give you the wiring you need to go from the nav drive to the TV Tuner that's located in the spare tire well.
The one for an e46 probably won't be long enough for an X5 application
