"replacement tv wiring harness"
The vehicle has factory nav and tv but as water damaged the control modules in the spare wheel well i have recently replaced them with secondhand items.The problem that i have is that the wiring harness to the tv control ( white and blue connection blocks ) has corroded quite badly. is there anywhere that i can get a replacement appart from the main dealer. I have spoke to tvonnav and they only manufacture wiring harnesses for retrofit applications. There is a full factory tv wiring harness for e46 on ebay will this work ? thanks Liam Last edited by finch; 07-20-2005 at 07:28 PM. Reason: mistake

All you need is the "BMW X5 Harness Extension" in the "Optional Accessories" section of http://tvonnav.com/bmwtvonnav.html. It lists for $70 and will give you the wiring you need to go from the nav drive to the TV Tuner that's located in the spare tire well.
The one for an e46 probably won't be long enough for an X5 application
