The X5 feels like a sports car vs. the RR. The RR feels heavy and ponderous in comparison.
The RR has it's looks, but that's all it's got.

Well I am glad I went with the X5 over the RR sport. I think it would have been one big headache. Its funny to read an RR forum. Each member consistly prays that their car is not going to the shop or that they did not become one of the "lucky" owners who has problems with their SUV......
I think your post adds another vote of confidence.
On the other hand, I saw the 2008 Cayenne this past week at Porsche of Arlington (next door to BMW) and the SUV looks great. I have no idea in terms of reliability how it stacks against a X5 but I think they did a great job with the headlights and overall its looks aggressive.
