I am truely sorry for your loss, but if you thought that seeing pictures of coffins would somehow cause me (or anyone else) to change their mind and now support the war, then you are going to be disappointed.

There is a reason why the Pentagon banned reporters from taking pictures of the coffins of soldiers. Seeing pictures of coffins with American soldiers in them does not exactly help promote support for the war, at least in most of us.

I don't think posting on the Internet qualifies as 'do(ing) whatever I cant to promote the idea of ending this terrible war'. And to say anything but thanks to a soldier or marine on Memorial day is plainly rude. You can question the action the day after if you like.
