I bought an '01 last week and one of my buds has a complete Nav / Monitor system that he'll sell me. It's from his 2005 with an upgraded system.
I checked the article from the main page and realized that it's a lot more complicated to do than I'm comfortable with.

A local car stereo installation place quoted me $150 for "plug & play" installation and $275 if it requires custom installation. I also called the dealership and surprisingly they quoted $160 for labor *if* it is possible(They weren't able to tell me over the phone, so I'm bringing it in).
Here's the actual photo and the part numbers:
1) BMW Widescreen, 16:9 OnBoard Navigation monitor / tape player, in perfect working condition - #65-52-6 934 413, Part # RD1BJ01A
2) BMW X5 (E53) NAV unit + DVD Rom disc - #6590 6 951 629-01
3) (Part of Nav?)BMW BM 5 3 - #65.12-6 943 449 AI:01 - included with NAV
Has anyone done this, and how much did the installation itself cost you?
Thanks!
