I have the 3.0 and am very pleased...there are times when I wish I had the 4.8, but only because I love a powerful car. I have never actually needed more power to pass or in any other situation. I live in a very flat region, so if you live in mountainous terrain you might want to consider the larger engine...otherwise the 3.0 is perfect for me.
