Soon I will be departing for Seattle, WA (one of my favorite cities, actually) for a cruise up in Alaska. I'm leaving a day early (saturday) so I can spend a day in Seattle. So far we are going to the Space Needle (right near the hotel) and then Pike Market, and then we are going up to Everett for the Boeing Manufacturing Facility site. We are going to the building where all the planes are made (which happens to be the largest building in the world
) and hopefully we can see the new 787 and also the
dreamlifter. Photography is strictly prohibited.
Have any other members done this tour? I was also made aware that there is a museum, which we'll check out if time allows. So we leave Sunday, some of the stops include a float plane trip over a scenic area, and a glacier boat ride trip. Any of you done an Alaska cruise, and what line was it on? I've gone on a few before, but not this line, and in the carribbean.
