After hanging up with the service manager, I told myself I would give it some thought and think about it over 4th of July. Right now, I'm thinking of going there Thursday and demanding the new car. I would give them that chance if it could be attempted in a week. But to wait 3 weeks, seems really long.

I really have a hard time understanding how BMW could have this part backordered, or why they can't make one in less time. I've never had a car take this long in service.
