The M5 sport wheel is the same at the M3 wheel with the exception that the M5 sport wheel has black stitching (whereas the M3 wheel has blue and red stitching). Strickly a personal preference.
You can get the wheel from Crevier for about $325 (ask for the X5world discount) plus shipping and you can reuse your '03 sport wheel airbag. There are installation instructions in the INTERIOR section on the home page
