Try this when you get home. When you received your new Dell, it came with a CD titled, "Drivers and Utilities". There is a "diagnostics" feature on this CD. As stated on the front of this CD, "You must boot your computer from this CD to run the diagnostics, which may require changing your computer's boot sequence". Maybe others here can chime in on how to "boot from this CD".
