Hi Danger9999,

Sounds like the pair has not taken properly, the display only says "Activate Phone" if the phone is;

a: out of range
b: not BT enabled on the phone
c: not paired.

Try this.

Press and hold the pair button, (not the MFSW) turn on ignition and hold for 10secs, this will flush the paired phones on the ULF.

Then re-pair the phone to the car.

Turn BT on the phone,
Turn BT seen by all (not hidden) on phone.
Press and hold the pair button, turn ign on and hold for 3secs,
Display should then say pairing phone.
Select search for BT devices on phone.
When found the phone/ULF will ask to pair and ask for the 4 digit code.
Do not press anything other than the correct 4 digit code...(this is what you did wrong first time, this info is not stored on the phone, so you have to repeat the whole process to get back to this point)
You will hear a beep to confirm that the pairing is done.
Then turn off the ignition to confirm that the pairing is complete.

Hope this helps
