Definitely get the '08.
Prices will not change that much from '07. Unless the wait for an '08 is too long for you I would wait.
I would never buy an '07 model late in the model year unless it is severely discounted - it will matter when you sell/trade-in this X.
Some of the new model glitches may also be fixed in the '08 although may be a little early in the model cycle to hope for this.
