This forum is excellent - thanks Trapdoor/Brian !!!!
I'm really looking forward to getting the ULF fitted now. The XDA is such a useful piece of kit I'd hate to go back to using the K800i (excellent phone though it is).
That really is good news. I somehow imagined that my WM6 device would be too new for the ULF but if it's been done, I'm dead chuffed. I'll grab a copy of that software too in the meantime.
I could just get the pairing button, though a cradle will only set me back a fiver so may as well, as I'd need to find a mount point for the button.
So I'll need an antenna (and cable), a mike, and the cradle then? Hopefully as the m/f steering wheel has the R/T and Voice buttons, the wiring loom is just tucked away in the headlining for the mike and under the armrest for the cradle.
And hopefully the Nokia BT kit won't interfere, maybe I should just take that out once the BMW one is working.
Only thing thats puzzling me is why this ULF has part number
"84.21 6-969268-02" and not - "84 10 6 969 268 7th generation"
What's the significance of the 2nd block on the part number (ie. 21 or 10).
So about 2 hours work then? Sounds like it will be fun... Cheers guys
