Whilst your comment about regular updates may be true for your country, it is not true globally :-(
Sadly, here in New Zealand, the latest release is 2005-1, and BMW have not produced any releases in the last 2.5 years
I wish we had updates every 6 months, or even every year...
But for whatever reason, the local BMW dealers do not put the same effort into navigation as they do in other countries.....
