Yeah, I saw it. Not a fair assement in my opinion. Sure the X3 (Like your X5) wasn't intended for hard off-roading but getting it stuck in the boggy English countryside is something that could happen to any vehicle especially on street tires. I've seen Jeeps get stuck in the mud at a levee overflow area where I used to ride dirt bikes as a kid. I suppose they weren't suitable either...
BTW, didn't they try to pull it out with a Land Rover and failed? As I recall they had to get a tractor. Nor did they show the Land Rover going through the same area. (Gee, I wonder why...

)
FWIW, I've passed Land Rovers stuck on an icy hill in my X3 and I'm running on performance tires! As was intened I have no plans to go rock crawling or mud bogging in it but a little light off-roading is always fun.
