I just do not think that's practical, since the damage comes from just the normal action of removing the belt and letting it retract out of the way. In reality, if I was just to gently ease the seatbelt into place as I removed it, it would never damage the trim and this would be about the same effort as what you show in the pic. Why should we have to do this on a 50-75K BMW, but it's not a problem on my Chevy or Honda?
