Long story short, a guy that lives in the duplex next to my condo building came out one night and told me that I was parking on his property. My parking lot runs along his property line and I pull up as close as possible to ensure people have room to get by my back end. Needless to say, he is mad that I pull my bumper past the concrete tire stop because it sticks over my parking lot slab into his yard (which consists of an area of dirt that is about 1 ft wide from my parking lot slab and his duplex wall. Not to mention there is a wooded up window well right were I park). When he confronted me about it, I said sorry and that I didnt realize he was cultivating something in that dirt or that I was blocking his use from it. He asserted that he has to walk through my parking lot as a result of the way I park because he cant get past my front end. I then reminded him he has a paved walkway on the other side of his house that goes to his parking area in the back of his building and that maybe he'd be safer using that. Fast forward one month and I have so many scratches across my hood and fenders that go as deep as metal (not buffable) and the whole front end will likely need painted now.
WOW.... that was long winded
Anyhow, I actually have done a little research and found that he rents his duplex and furthermore, I found the property lines actually lay in my favor. Technically, his property line is nearly his wall and my complex owns everything up to his wall. Now I need the proof he's doing it and I'll be getting a paint job.
