I am currently living in the Silicon Valley area of California but the cost of living is just driving me nuts! I work as a web administrator/IT in a Health Care company and thinking of moving to east coast.

Does anybody have any recomendation in terms of not too high cost of living and weather not too extreme (snow particularly)?
