Yes, VERY easy and cheap to change out-you just need to pry up on one end slowly/carefully, then do the same on the other side, disconnect the harness, then re-install. The part, which is integrated with the hazard switch, from an aftermarket place like

is only about $35-$40 shipped. BTW that site actually has ALOT of good prices for OE BMW parts
