Door lock switch on centre console.... sometimes not working !??!?!

The door lock/unlock on the centre console is sometimes working and other times is not. Doesn't matter if the car is on or off............. similar issue under both circumstances.

Anyone else run across this issue ever ????

DIY-er fix available ?????

Yes, VERY easy and cheap to change out-you just need to pry up on one end slowly/carefully, then do the same on the other side, disconnect the harness, then re-install. The part, which is integrated with the hazard switch, from an aftermarket place like http://foreigncarpartsonline.com
is only about $35-$40 shipped. BTW that site actually has ALOT of good prices for OE BMW parts
