Hi everyone:

Are there different types of Diamaris tires?

I ask because I was at the local dealer here in Phoenix and need new tires, I have the Diamaris tires now on 19" rims (Sport package).

The dealer gave me a quote but the local tire shop beat it (discount tires).

So the S.A. at the dealer says to make sure their tires have the stars on them because Michellin makes those specifically for BMW vehicles. Have you heard of this before?

I had discount tire check this and they only show one tire for the Diamaris....is the SA blowing smoke and trying to get business or could there really be different "classes" I guess of the Diamaris tire?

Thanks for the help as I will be buying them tomorrow and need to know if I need the dealer ones.
