Added photos of placing a dry pan under rear right door, then opening door after a 5 hour rain. Note water in pan that came from between door seals. Water comes in at the upper corner. water appeared to be coming out of the door panel but i did not get a decent picture. i have more pictures.

Just got my '07 3.0 X5 back from 2 days at the dealers. Left it with the following list of issues:
1.Back passenger’s door is still holding water after a rain. More water accumulates during a lighter and longer rain than during a hard rain or washing the vehicle. Water is between the door and the sill.
2.Navigation system occasionally goes black and reloads. At other times displays a message that there is a problem with the CD drive. Unloading and reloading the CD will temporally fix the problem.
3.Automatic windshield washer setting will operate normally for a while and then goes to continuous operation. Some times turning the wipers off will reset it, other times not.
5.Right side front park distance control unit occasionally indicates that it is close to an object when there is nothing close by. Tried cleaning it, didn’t help.
6.When first started engine will occasionally run rough and is very sluggish for 5 to 15 seconds. (Reported before).
7.Gasoline mileage varies extremely. Most of my driving is the same routes and same style. Averages as low as 14.5 MPG and as high as 19.0 around town. Drove to Illinois 2 weeks ago, averaged 66.7 MPH and got 25.4 MPG. Went to the airport Saturday morning early, never exceeded 65 MPH, very steady conservative drive and got 20.2 MPG. All MPG figures are from the OBC. This is very a very real problem and must be addressed.
9.The video quality from the back up camera sucks.

#1. Checked all seals and door adjustments/ok. This part of the vehcile does not have a water drain/normal condition. I was told to it is the "nature of the beast" and nothing will be done. Live with it.
#2. Cannot confirm complaint. No faults stored. No bus problems. Test drove/no problems. No SIBS. Told to bring it in if it fails again.
#3. Working properly. No faults/no SIBS. It all depends on how the rain falls onto the sensor.
#5. Cannot confirm. PDC working properly. Sensors working properly.
#6. Cannot confirm. Alcohol level ok. recomended top tier fuel and fuel injector cleaning (has 12500 miles).
#7. Recomended top tier fuel.
#9. Normal video quality for vechile. Compared to another X5/same quality.
So i have a $56,000+ vechile that runs rough, holds water, loses navigation and all function on the LCD. Gas mileage all over the place and a PDC that sees ghosts and a video camera that can't see. And all they can say is live with it and bring it in if it happens again. How embrassing and disappointing.
