No experience with Honda car but I agree with JCL on a possible bad connection somewhere. I had a very similar issue with a Mercury sable few years ago. I had the engine light and o2 sensor code. I made the code and engine light disappear for a while by changing the gas cap and disconnect the battery for 5mns. It reappeared again a month or so later. Before replacing the o2 sensor I tried cleaning the contacts on the O2 sensor. I disconnected the O2 sensor, cleaned the contacts and the problem never occurred again for the following 2 years until I sold the car.
