thanks bdriven. I have a grinding noise and the x5 wont move. Is this the same issue that the chain resolves. I thought it would be the splines being striped on the drive shaft and in the transfer case. Parton my ignorance on this. Is there a diagram of the interior of the transfer case showing the chain. I am having a friend do the work.
