As was discussed in your previous post, when the ABS/DSC/etc lights all come on on your dashboard, it is likely a sensor problem. It isn't anything to do with the DSC button, because that only lights up the DSC light (or the DTC light, or the 4x4 light, depending on the year and model - they all mean the same thing)

If the sensor was fine, you could push the DSC button and see a light come on (as above). Pushing it again turns the light off. It resets when you restart the vehicle. Sounds like the sensor has an intermittent failure.

So now the failed sensor is most likely causing the DSC to engage, limiting power because it thinks that a wheel is spinning. That is what your wife experienced.

You need to get the vehicle repaired by a dealer or other shop that can plug in a diagnostic computer to read the codes and see exactly which sensor has failed. Doing it yourself or without a diagnostic aid means the mechanic will have to look at all of them.
