Select the display mode to be map (I forget the exact command). It stays this way until you change it again

Use NavCoder and change the Widescreen Mode.
However, the correct setting depends on what radio module you have fitted

Maybe you have BM24 and he has BM54...??

You can select a different widescreen mode, but you may not have full radio control (Info and Select buttons may not work as they should)

Correct BMW setting for Splitscreen is that it works on nav, computer and radio using the BM24 and 4:3 screen (which is what I had)
But some radios do not support radio split screen, and that may be where the difference is between the cars.
