I closed a blanket in the rear door of my X5. Now the door is stuck about 1/2 inch open and will not open up. I think the blanket, which is quite thin, is around the metal loop on the body side of the door opening and the door latch is securely closed around it. I have tried pulling on the door handle to get it unstuck to no avail. I also don't want to pull too hard and damage my door handle.

This one has got me stumpped!!!! Help!!!
