Why don't you go here and post a thread, and I would bet you will have dealers anxious to let you drive the car. If nothing else, you would probably learn a little more about it.

You aren't going to get a whole lot of help from GM-bashing BMW lovers over here. Of course, if you go the other site, you'll probably have to live with a little BMW-bashing too.
