The usual reason the light comes on for steering angle sensors is a plausibility fault caused by getting an ailgnment done which changes the angle of the steering wheel when it is straight. The sensor sees the wheel as slightly turned while the wheel speed sensors say you're going straight... which is why this fault usually comes up on the highway or a long straightaway.

If this is the case, it just needs to be recalibrated.
