I had the same thing happen to me, except mine was with a Ford dealership in Austin. They were transferring a Contour from San Antonio. The car arrived on Friday, the salesman called me and I told him it would have to wait until Monday since I was already leaving town. I get back on Monday and the salesman called and said an error occurred in the computer and someone sold my car. I said it was bs, they got a higher price than what I was willing to pay. They offered to locate another car, etc, but was only willing to come off another $500 for the error. I yelled at the sales manager and anyone else I could, but it did no good. So I left to another dealership and they had the car I was looking for. I called the loser dealership up and told them my girlfriend was coming to pick-up my deposit check and they better have it ready when she gets there.
