Looks like just the new ipod cable has been plugged in to the radio, and the original cable disconnected.

So you should find the original radio cable in that area somewhere.

Simple remove the pins from the new ipod connector and fit them to the original radio connector and insert the original connector into the radio.

That way you'll have everything restored back to normal.
