NOw that you have the MID off,there should be two hex screws visible just beneath the CD/Tape unit, take those off and you should be able to pull the radio unit.see the Virgin X5 retrofit guide pdf file http://www.bmwmotorsports.org/pdf/nav/65%2011%20030.pdf
