Definitely worth it.
You'll need an OS CD from V24 or later.
DO NOT use V32 - this is not available as Mode2/Form1 format
Mk3 requires Mode2/From1 otherwise it crashes
You'll also need the Key CD to unlock the new OS version - google for it.

You have to remove the motorola phone control unit and fit the ULF bluetooth (which also gives nav voice control) or the TCU GSM phone controller - which has bluetooth and voice control 8for phone only, no nav voice control)
And your monitor is loosing vertical sync with the TV tuner.
Anyway, if the tuner is analogue, you need to check if you still have any analogue TV stations in your neck of the woods. Many countries have turned them off.
Try a battery reset (battery off, wait 15min, battery on), making sure that you wait until the nav shuts down before disconnecting the battery (nav red LED must be off)
