Idle control valve can just seize up apparently. It's under the plenum length adjuster valve held in by two torx bolts and a rubber boot. The engine wiring harness bolts to it's mounting bracket at one point. It is not really hard to pull once you have the intake stuff off, all the way down to but not including the throttlebody. It is about a 150 part, plus or minus.
