Exactly which media are you talking about? I have yet to see any network do any 180. Within hours after his death, multiple networks were running old feeds about the allegations and trials, and still are. The "media" has yet to tell the story of the first accuser recanting his story. Precisely why i prefer to do my own research, here's a couple for a start:
