I don't want to offend old school BlackBerry fans, but the track ball is WAY outdated, IMO. I just can't spend money on anything but a touch screen. I like the iphone, but ATT is horrible in my house and neighborhood, so I am sticking with Verizon. I know the Storm was not a big hit initially due to glitches, but apparently the updates referenced above have helped out big time. I actually like the feel of the screen when it "clicks" and found myself thinking that there must be something wrong with me because of all the negative press. I was personally able to text faster with the Storm than the Omnia or the Tour. I am not that big into apps or multimedia (that is what my laptop is for), but as a phone, e-mail machine, < 70 texts per month, occasional internet usage and minimal apps, it is right up my alley. I wish I could wait to the see Storm 2 or Omnia 2, but I need the phone ASAP.
