50k miles is fine for a Transmission flush, since I had mine done at Inspection II even later than that. Note that only half the fluid can be changed, since the torque converter itself cannot be drained. There is a specific type of fluid that is to be used, I can't remember off the top of my head, but it is specified on the sticker on the transmission unit itself.
