nope. mine just past 100K miles and still running well. Also just passed CA smog with flying colors, so I think mine are good. I would bet you can get the Bosch equivalents from an auto parts store for right around 50% of the dealership price for the BMW part. which is likely just a re-labeled Bosch unit anyway.
