Slower on 0-40 maybe. Both JB3 and Vishnu will take the 35 over 400
at the wheels on the 335i with some intake-exhaust mods. That said, with just JB3/Procede, it should be about the same at the crank with a stock 50. The 50 might have more torque in hand but you should also consider that the 35 will be lighter.
That said, I think a 35i modded with some minimal intake & exhaust mods should match the power and 0-60 acceleration of the 50 easily.
