I have a bit of a problem with the flip down part of my 16:9 monitor.
When I was doing the Nav retrofit I had to remove the monitor to make the CD changer connections. I ordered the removal tools from BMW (only £2.50) to make the job easier. To release the bottom clips you need to flip the screen down via the eject button and you then have about 15 seconds to release the tabs. I ran out of time and the screen caught on the release key I managed to get the screen opened again and removed the key.
My problem now is when I press the eject button the screen comes down but doesn't stay down long enough to eject the CD. If I keep my finger on the flip it then stays down but still can't get the CD out.
Anyone else have this problem?
