Cheers John. I took the monitor out last night and discovered one of the retaining springs was badly bent and was catching on the screen when it came down. I managed to straighten it out and the screen now flips down smoothly - which is a start! However, the screen just comes down and immediately closes again without ejecting the disc.
The CD still plays and I have an Intravee so it's not the end of the world if I don't sort it but it's just annoying.
You don't happen to know which fuse I need to pull by any chance?
